I’ve always believed that being part of a community means showing up and getting involved. Long before I ran for office, I volunteered, supported local causes, and looked for ways to help make Chamblee better for everyone. That’s how my passion for public service began: by rolling up my sleeves and getting things done.

Since joining the Council, I've been working hard for you.
Parks, Trails & Recreation
Trail and Park Bond – I led the effort to bring this referendum to voters. Thank you for passing it with 81% support.
Wood Acres Park – Purchased the land, created the master plan, and will break ground next year.
Village Park – Revitalized it with eco-friendly restrooms, turf fields, and more.
Dresden Park – Invested nearly 13 million dollars in upgrades. The grand opening is scheduled for December.
Arrow Creek Park – Built this new park, which includes Chamblee’s first pickleball courts.
Rail Trail Expansion – Opened multiple new trail segments to better connect neighborhoods and parks.
Planning, Governance & Infrastructure
Mayor Pro Tem – Honored to have been selected by the Council for the past two years.
New City Hall – Helped lead the final construction phases and acquire the surrounding property.
City Center Steering Committee – Served on the team that vetted and selected the developer for the City Center project.
Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee – Chaired the team to develop Chamblee’s five-year strategic plan.
Public Works Expansion – Purchased property adjacent to the current facility to support growth.
Downtown Entertainment District – Helped create this district to draw more business and activity downtown.
Environmental & Sustainability
Sustainability Plan – Led the effort to create Chamblee’s new Sustainability Plan.
Trash Traps – Installed traps on Nancy Creek and Arrow Creek in partnership with the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.
Expanded Recycling – Added citywide options for glass and scrap metal recycling.
Community, Education & Civic Programs
Council Dog of the Month Program – Partnered with Lifeline to spotlight adoptable pets and engage the community.
Dresden Elementary School Education Foundation – Board member for four years, working to support local education.
Antisemitism Resolution – Sponsored and passed Chamblee’s first formal resolution condemning antisemitism.
Millage Rate – Maintained the city’s millage rate for four straight years.
Discover Chamblee Board – Serve on the board to promote tourism and economic development.
