Catch up on all things Chamblee!

The Locomotive - One Big Thing:
Keep Chamblee Beautiful and the City of Chamblee are hosting the 2nd Annual Trash Dash — a fun and competitive event where teams race to see who can collect the most trash around Chamblee. The team that picks up the most wins the grand prize!
Additional prize categories will be announced the morning of the event, and there will be random prize drawings, so everyone has a chance to win something!
I’m a team captain again this year and still have spots open on my team. If my team fills up, don’t worry — there are plenty of other teams looking for volunteers. Come join the fun and help keep Chamblee beautiful!
8:30 Arrival / Captains Draw for Collection Areas / Review of the Rules / Team Strategizing
9:00 - The TRASH DASH begins!
11:30 All teams and their trash report back to Arrow Creek Park (Chamblee Public Works and KCB volunteers will help with this)
11:30 - 12:30 Free lunch/judges weigh and evaluate trash / Awards ceremony (over $300 in prizes will be given away!)
