Staff Action Items

City of Chamblee Sustainability Roadmap

In collaboration with McKinstry, we have embarked on a comprehensive initiative to enhance the environmental sustainability of our city operations. This endeavor encompasses the design and implementation of energy-efficient buildings and the adoption of cleaner vehicles.

Our commitment extends beyond mere compliance with regulations; it is a proactive approach aimed at fostering tangible and measurable improvements that will benefit our community both present and future. Last month, McKinstry presented the proposed roadmap, which the City Council UNANIMOUSLY approved.

This initiative holds a personal passion for me, and I extend my sincere gratitude to the Mayor, the Council, and the Staff for their unwavering dedication to integrating this roadmap into Chamblee's vision for the future. While it represents a significant milestone, we recognize that there is ample work ahead to continue making a positive impact on our community.
