Catch up on all things Chamblee!

The Locomotive - One Big Thing:
People often ask me why I ran for public office, and the answer is simple: I want to help make Chamblee the best place to live for everyone in our community.
If there’s anything you’d like to talk about — ideas, concerns, or just a good conversation — I’ll be holding office hours at City Hall this Friday from 10:30 AM to 5 PM. Feel free to stop by — I’d love to connect!

Left the Station - This Past Week's Events:
March 26: Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting
This month’s Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting welcomed the newest class of Chamblee 101 participants! They got an inside look at our Public Safety Department, including a tour of the facilities, and had the chance to ask Chief Dieppa all their questions about public safety in our city.
It was a great evening of learning and community connection. If you haven’t attended a CAC meeting yet, I highly encourage you to join us in April. It’s a great way to get involved and stay informed!

March 27: Neighborhood Engagement Program - Community 5 - Meeting 1

March 28: Village Park Grand Reopening & Movie Night
This photo doesn’t quite capture just how many people came out for the event — it was an amazing turnout! We handed out soccer balls and popsicles, and wrapped up the night with a big-screen showing of Moana 2 under the stars.
So, what’s new at the park? We’ve added sunshades, turf fields, and more exciting upgrades. And here’s the best part — all of it was funded through ARPA funds granted by Governor Kemp, meaning it didn’t cost Chamblee taxpayers a thing!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the park’s reopening — it was a night to remember! You can watch the recap here.

March 28: Doraville United Spring Festival, Doraville United Elementary School
March 29 -30: Taiwan Spring Festival
We sponsored this fun event via the Non-Profit Patnershipship. We ate lots of food, watched the Lion Dancers, and a few local dingnateries joined in the fun!

January 1 - March 31: Trees Atlanta Front Yard Tree Program
At the Station - Ongoing Events in Chamblee:
April 1-2: Autism Training at Chamblee Police Department with Autism Safety
